Here is what you’ll need.

Supplies:

  • Envelopes
  • Craft Paper
  • X-Acto knife
  • Glue Stick

Step 1: Take apart one of the envelopes to be lined. The base of the envelope will be the exact shape needed for your template. Make sure to cut off the adhesive part of the envelope so the liner doesn’t cover it.

Step 2: Trace the template on your desired craft paper. We chose a few different designs in order to keep our envelopes interesting!

Step 3: Insert liner into the envelope and fold the flap to crease.

Step 4: Lift the envelope flap, keeping the liner folded. Apply glue stick around the liner edge. Once the glue has been applied, fold down the envelope flap onto the liner.

It’s as simple as that! There are so many possibilities when it comes to liners. Is glitter more your thing? Grab some glitter craft paper and make envelopes sparkle. Or go more minimal and pick a single color for your liner. Nothing is as fun as receiving something pretty in the mail so send some “happy” to someone you love!
